To Kill a Mocking Bird has become a classic novel. It is a Pulitzer Prize winner and many of us will have read it for school. It has just been announced that the sequel, Go Set a Watchman, written by Harper Lee prior to To Kill a Mocking Bird is to be published.

Are you going to read Go Set a Watchman, the sequel to To Kill a Mocking Bird?

I sure am. I'll be re-reading To Kill a Mocking Bird in anticipation of the sequel's release. I might be a little bit of a sad case but I'm not afraid to admit this is the most exciting news I've heard this year.
Possibly. But from the Library.
Oh Yes!

indeed I am....can't wait, to be honest.

Yes I think I probably will.... though I will need to reread To Kill a Mocking Bird first! It's been a long long time since I read it. And given the glacial speed with which I am reading books at the moment, it will be some considerable time in the future before I get to read the sequel :)
Wow, I had no idea this book existed until now, but I will certainly be reading it! I'm super-excited now, actually :)
I think this will be interesting to see how Harper Lee developed as a writer, considering Go Set Watchman was her first attempt at a story in which Scout was an adult.
I think I will read it and then re-read To Kill A Mockingbird as was her original intention now that I know this. It saddens me though that some people within publishing believe that her family have prompted this to happen after her sister (also her lawyer) recently passed away and Harper's health is ailing. I hope they are just being cynical and her relatives aren't gold digging...
I'm sure I will read it!
It's a bit down the track now and it hasn't set the world on fire so I am not sure. Might follow donjo's lead and do the library thing.
