Designer labels for children

Designer labels for children: Dior, Gucci, Fendi, Burberry, Armani, etc. are some of the outrageously priced children clothing and other products available at such designer outlets.

How does one justify spending extravagant amounts of money on baby designer labels?

I don't think it's justified. Kids hardly care and as long as the clothes are good quality and pleasing to eyes, I don't think it matters.

I can understand paying more if they're better quality, but not just for the label.
Not justifiable at all. People who shop at these stores have too much money. The only people who benefit from these stores are the designers.
Absolutely not. Only the rich ones can afford something like that.

I once saw some in a store and could not fully understand.
Way too much money, and for what.
Totally wrong in my opinion when we have children in the world, starving.Sorry to pull-that 'card' but it makes me sick,I just can't get it.

At $62.00 for a dummy!! and they have sold out.

Makes me want to spit-the dummy!!
$62 for a dummy!. I love the segment on The Checkout. Guilty mums.... and the $$$ that can be spent on 'stuff' .......
Designer clothes? For those who think it's important and can afford it, of course, but so many great kids'/babies clothes are on the racks of the chainstores, and the goodwill shops.

Yes exactly.

I have no problems with this sort of branding. For ne, they're making a name for themselves. Its just business. If their products are of good quality, they could make a good living.

Additionally, kids may not care about the brands they wear, many parents however do.
It's just plain 'oneupmanship' by wealthy parents!

Oh! 'look at my baby in designer EXPENSIVE outfits'.
Unbelievable snobbishness & status seeking by the parents! Some people have WAY too much money! (like the moronic bloke in China who bought his DOG an Apple watch for each front paw! It's ALL about HIM!)

The baby/toddler/child hasn't a clue. This doesn't 'kick in' until older, & only then, because Mummy makes such a fuss of it! Sheeeesh!
No, I find it quite distasteful that people will spend vast amounts of money for baby to look good, with the label outside of course. I guess, though it is the choice of the parents and is their own business. I couldn't justify that kind of money myself, would rather give it to charity.
