I do pay attention to the advertisements when I am traveling on trains and trams. I don't travel on buses that much. But when a bus passes by, I do look at the adverts. I like the advertisements that cover the entire tram. It's quite creative the way they do it. I also think these adverts are effective, at least on me.
They must be, or the companies wouldn't spend the money on them. Advertising is a cut-throat industry and if one form wasn't being effective then it would be stopped immediately. There is a lot of consumer research done to find out what makes a consumer buy a particular product, so it's usually well known what is and isn't effective.
Personally, I seem to have an advert filter and very rarely notice them in any setting. I'm an advertiser's nightmare....
I notice transport advertisements, and I do read them, so they definitely grab your attention. I have occasionally gone to the product/service's website too. I've never bought anything after seeing an advert though.
I do look, and I think it is a brilliant way to advertise.
It's almost impossible not to see something, about the product
I would think it is expensive to use this service, because of the many
hundreds of people who look every hour or so.
Still very smart advertising.
NO, I couldnít care a less about advertising anywhere. I find it extremely ugly out there on public transport, buildings, etc. Itís bad enough seeing it on T.V so when they do come on a T.V. show Iím watching, I change channels or leave the room. Itís lovely being in a daughters house in Melbourne, because they donít own a TV!
